I have played millions of hands of twenty-one. I started working my way into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have bet on online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. Given all that I have still spent all kinds of money at vingt-et-un. The casinos have made it nearly impossible to defeat the casino.

I still like the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over the years I have played a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get rich with this tactic or beat the house, nonetheless you will experience a lot of fun. This method is centered on the idea that 21 seems to be a game of streaks. When you’re on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!

I play basic strategy twenty-one. When I don’t win I bet the table minimum on the successive hand. If I do not win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the payout paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the bet back down to the original value.

I am very strict and do not back out. It gets extremely thrilling at times. If you win a few hands in a row your bets go up very quick. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had awesome streaks a few times now. I left a $5 table at the Luxor a number of years back with $750 after 20 minutes using this tactic! And a number of months ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!

You need to understand that you can relinquish much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be astonished at the streaks you see gamble this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a $5 table.

Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the first $10 wager

Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 20 dollar

Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 20 dollar wager

Bet twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total bet of forty dollar

Wager $40
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the original forty dollar bet

Bet forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total bet of 80 dollar

Bet 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the initial eighty dollar wager

Wager 80 dollar
Leave $80 paid to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar

Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 160 dollar wager

If you left at this point you would be up $315 !!

It is hard to go on a streak this long, but it can happen. And when it does you must NOT deviate and drop your wager or the end result will not be the same.
