I have gambled on millions of rounds of chemin de fer. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have gambled on online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. Given all that I have still lost a lot of bankroll at blackjack. The gambling halls have made it nearly impossible to defeat the casino.
I still like the game and gamble on a regular basis. Over this time period I have enjoyed a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get loaded with this tactic or beat the house, however you will have an abundance of fun. This tactic is built on the idea that 21 seems to be a match of streaks. When you are hot your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy twenty-one. When I lose I bet the table minimum on the next hand. If I do not win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I win I take the payout paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the action back down to the original amount.
I am very strict and do not back out. It gets extremely exciting on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quick. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had great streaks a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Wynn a couple of years back with $750 after 60 minutes using this method! And a number of weeks ago in Macau I left a table with $1200!
You must understand that you can lose much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be aghast at the streaks you see wagering this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a 5 dollar game.
Bet $5
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the first $5 bet
Bet five dollar
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total bet of $10
Wager ten dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the original $10 bet
Wager $10
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 20 dollar
Bet 20 dollar
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the first twenty dollar wager
Wager $20
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total wager of $40
Wager 40 dollar
Take $40 paid to you, leave the first forty dollar wager
Wager 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $80
Wager $80
Take $80 paid to you, leave the original 80 dollar wager
Wager eighty dollar
Leave $80 paid to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet $160
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the original one hundred and sixty dollar wager
If you left at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!
It’s herculean to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you can’t alter and drop your wager or the end result will not be the same.
