I have wagered on millions of hands of vingt-et-un. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have gambled on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost all kinds of money at blackjack. The gambling halls have made it very hard to defeat the casino.
I still like the game and bet on a frequent basis. Over the years I have gambled on a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get loaded with this method or defeat the casino, however you will experience a lot of fun. This method is based on the idea that vingt-et-un appears to be a match of streaks. When you’re on fire your hot, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I play basic strategy chemin de fer. When I don’t win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I lose again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Once I hit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the wager back down to the original value.
I am very strict and never back out. It gets very thrilling on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic runs a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the Paris a couple of years ago with $750 after 60 mins using this technique! And a few days ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can say good-bye to a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be surprised at the runs you see wagering this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you continue winning at a five dollar game.
Bet $5
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the initial 5 dollar bet
Bet 5 dollar
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Bet $10
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the initial 10 dollar wager
Bet $10
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Bet twenty dollar
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the first twenty dollar bet
Bet twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 40 dollar
Bet forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the initial 40 dollar bet
Wager 40 dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Bet 80 dollar
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the first $80 wager
Wager 80 dollar
Leave $80 paid to you for a total wager of 160 dollar
Bet 160 dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the original one hundred and sixty dollar wager
If you departed at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!
It’s hard to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can NOT deviate and lower your wager or the end result will not be the same.
