black jack is a game that reminds me somewhat of a crazy ride. Blackjack is a game that starts slowly, but gradually picks up the pace. As you build up your bankroll, you feel like you are on your way to the top of the coaster and then when you aren’t expecting it, the bottom drops out.

Blackjack is so akin to a rollercoaster the similarities are bizarre. As with the popular amusement ride, your black jack game will peak and things will appear to be going great for a time before it bottoms out again. Of course you have to be a black jack player that will be able to adjust well to the ups … downs of the game especially given that the game of blackjack is awash with them.

If you like the small coaster, one that doesn’t go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way that you can enjoy the crazy ride is with a fatter bet, then jump aboard for the crazy ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high-stakes gambler will love the view from the monster roller coaster because he or she is not mentally processing the drop as they rush headlong to the top of the game.

A win goal and a loss limit works well in blackjack, but very few gamblers adhere to it. In black jack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it is going up, that’s a lovely feeling, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster begins to toss and turn, you had better get out in a hurry.

If you don’t, you might not always remember how much you enjoyed life while your bankroll was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a thrilling ride and your head in the sky. As you are remembering "what ifs", you won’t clearly recall how "high up" you went but you will clearly remember that mortifying fall as clear as day.
